Who I would vote for.

If I could vote now. My vote would go to the NDP. I'd vote for them because they seem to care more about the people and country. The NDP seem more relaxed on issues such as abortion and other issues. I like the NDP because they will try to raise minimum wages and protect public sector buildings such as schools and hospitals. Overall I would vote for the NDP because they care about the people more than themselves and are less greedy then the conservatives.

Scot Wahl

Having Scot Wahl in class talking about his job is pretty cool,. being able to beta test the new products is a sick perk at RIM. Also, the pay is well. His job at rim seemed pretty good. I did not like the technical writing stuff, it seemed to boring and repetitive and that is something i cant see my self doing. Also, the amount of hours he works a day is a lot. In the end I don't like any of his technical writing jobs but i may be interested in a job at RIM.

Jen, Environmental Professor.

An environmental professor seems like a good job that can help the world.. You think of ways to get people to become more Eco-friendly. You try to get people involved in community events to help clean, plant trees and many more things. You also do a lot of research and paperwork as well as teaching your students. The amount of schooling required for this job seems too much for me. Also, living on a $20,000 salary for a few years seems harsh. Overall an Jen was a good speaker, person and environmental professor but that is not something i can see myself doing in the future.

FFP Course

Overall the FFP course is pretty cool, I enjoy the liberty of being able to do what projects I want. Also, I enjoy the fact that there is no set due date, so I can do the projects with out stressing to complete them last minute. Overall I think this Future Forums Project is good and I would recommend that the program stays running for future students.

Ken North

After listening to Mr North all of his duties and jobs being a fireman. I learned that they do a lot more then just put out fires. They have to be at any life threatening accident , and they're usually the first ones there. I thought it was cool for Mr North to come in and tell about what he really does and how he saves lives.

Should the government be able to listen in to our homes to keep us safe?

No way, that would violate a lot of peoples privacy.  No one could feel totally secure when talking about a matter with anybody, whether it be against the government or something else. Overall, having the government listen in on everything we say and do is a bad idea. Its a bad idea because there could be a lot of false arrest and such from people just joking around. It would also feel like Hitlers secret police, the government could have random people listening on the streets and reporting any matters to the government.
